    For Holiday House London 2017, I collaborated with LuxDeco to design a textured and richly coloured media room in a jewel tone palette inspired by the work of two of my favorite artists, El Anatsui and Gustav Kilmt.

    I selected furniture and lighting from LuxDeco‘s luxury collection of specialist pieces that are defined by unusual geometric shapes and relaxed comfort. The walls are upholstered in a sumptuous, one-of-a-kind hand painted velvet designed in collaboration with Fromental.

  • Colour and form are important features of this design. The splashes of the turquoise on the sofa, a pouffe and vase create a bold contrast to the warm and feminine palette on the walls. Continuing to play with tactile materials, I chose a Mongolian sheepskin footstool. The effect is lively yet soothing, the perfect combination for a media room.
