We explored a lot of picture-book beautiful hotels, The Dylan and Pulitzer hotels were some of my favourites. A particularly cool find was the Mendo bookstore inside Hotel de L’Europe in the city centre, filled with the most beautiful books and unique furniture pieces. What I loved most about the city is the vast selection of artisans and small local stores. While many European cities are influenced by the boundless chain industries and restaurants, the Dutch know how to keep it local and ultimately unique.
