I love pattern, both monochrome and colour, and I use lots of pattern in my designs.  One place where I particularly love using vibrant pattern is on a headboard.  The bed is the anchor of the room and you can have fun with pattern here as it is a relatively small expanse.

This pink and navy headboard is one of my favourites. It is a custom colourway of Le Manach’s Jazz fabric which we actually upholstered horizontally instead of vertically.  The masculine design is the perfect foil to the playful colours. The rest of the room is a palette of soothing greys energised by a vibrant pink velvet sofa. But it really is the headboard that pulls the scheme together.
